FoEP: Improving the Park for the benefit of the whole community
The Friends of Eastfield Park (FoEP) are involved in a wide range of activities in relation to Eastfield Park. These include:
Conducting research into the history of the Park and its surroundings; investigating wildlife & biodiversity within the Park.
Educating the general public as well as children and students about the Park, its history and wildlife.
Raising an awareness of Eastfield Park by encouraging its use for a variety of activities, some of which we organise or take part in ourselves.
Creating a 'vision' for the Park; proposing measures and producing action plans for making the vision a reality.
Taking care of the Park, its facilities and its wildlife and, where possible, improving them for future generations to enjoy.
Keeping others informed about our activities and achievements and encouraging a wider involvement in our pursuits.
Consulting with local residents and negotiating with other interested parties regarding future developments within the Park.
