What you won't find on this site:

This website deals mainly with the aims and activities of the Friends of Eastfield Park. While it does include some information about Eastfield Park itself, there will be much more information on a site we are developing about other aspects of the Park including its geology, drainage, history and wildlife. For the time being here is a link to an old site we were working on, although it is incomplete and some of the links no longer work:

News updated monthly.

Monthly news from January 2017.

(At present, news up to the end of 2016 is only available on the old website.  Eventually it will be incorporated into the present site.)

‘Friends of Eastfield Park’ (FoEP) is a voluntary community organisation whose main aim is to improve Eastfield Park, Northampton, UK, for the benefit of all its users.  We do this through research, consultation, planning, development and promotion of the Park as well as organising conservation activities and social events in the Park.

KITE FLYING IN EASTFIELD PARK

As part of the celebrations for Love Parks Week (2017) the FoEP will be organising kite flying in Eastfield Park after school on Tuesday 18th July. There will be opportunities for children to fly their own kites or, for children who do not have kites, to purchase a kite kit for just two to three pounds. They can then make, decorate, fly & take home their very own kite which they made for themselves.  There will also be some ready-made kites for sale.

*** NO TICKETS NEEDED! ***
